#OTD in 1964, the band released the single version of Can't Buy Me Love.
Earlier that year, The Beatles had done a run of 18 performances at the Olympia music hall in Paris. It was whilst they were in the city that Paul wrote Can’t Buy Me Love - at the George V hotel, where the band were staying in the most opulent set of rooms of their career so far.
